How VEXRAD may use them

Directly hosted VEXRAD video may not itself require third-party tracking cookies. External embedded content may use storage/access technologies. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer, warranty or guarantee that ADR is suitable for a particular project or that a particular geological, mineral, water, geothermal, carbon-storage or archaeological outcome will be achieved. Project scope, deliverables, assumptions and commercial terms are governed by the applicable written proposal or contract.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, graphics, branding, compilations, interpretations and VEXRAD-created materials are owned by or licensed to VEXRAD Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party material remains the property of its respective owner. VEXRAD material may not be reproduced, republished, sold, modified or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

Case studies, links and availability

Case studies may contain historical work, reconstructed figures, anonymised material or results originally generated under predecessor or partner organisations. Results from one site must not be assumed to predict performance at another. Third-party links are provided for convenience or attribution and are not controlled by VEXRAD. VEXRAD may change or withdraw website content without notice.

Acceptable use and liability

Users must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, materially disrupt the service, misrepresent VEXRAD content or use it unlawfully. Nothing excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to that, VEXRAD is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website information rather than an agreed project scope or appropriate professional investigation.

Governing law

These terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from use of this website are governed by Scots law, with jurisdiction of the Scottish courts subject to any mandatory rights that apply.

Technical & Geoscience Disclaimer

ADR and Virtual Boreholes

ADR uses surface-acquired electromagnetic measurements and processing and interpretation methods to investigate subsurface responses. Geological interpretation is subject to uncertainty, non-uniqueness, data quality, acquisition conditions, calibration and independent control. A VEXRAD Virtual Borehole is a depth-oriented interpretation derived from ADR data; it is not a drilled borehole, core, cutting, wireline log, assay, pressure test, flow test or direct physical sample.

No guaranteed resource or performance

Unless expressly established by independent evidence and stated in a project-specific report, VEXRAD website material does not guarantee or certify mineralisation, commodity grade, tonnage, resources or reserves; groundwater presence, yield, quality or sustainability; geothermal temperature, permeability, flow rate or productivity; hydrocarbon presence or recoverability; CO₂ injectivity, containment, capacity or storage performance; the identity, age or significance of an archaeological feature; or drilling success.

Complementary evidence

ADR should normally be considered alongside appropriate geology, geochemistry, remote sensing, conventional geophysics, drilling, sampling, laboratory analysis, well logging, engineering, hydrogeology, reservoir studies and other relevant evidence.

Evidence, depth and decisions

Terms such as Validated, Grounded, Candidate and Known Null describe evidence status within the stated context and are not guarantees. Investigation depth, detection and resolution are project- and geology-dependent. Investment, drilling, engineering, environmental, safety and regulatory decisions should use the full body of relevant evidence and appropriately qualified persons.

Ethics, Anti-Bribery, Financial Crime & Sanctions Statement

VEXRAD Ltd is committed to conducting business lawfully, ethically and transparently. This public statement does not state that VEXRAD is an AML-supervised business.

Our principles

• Bribery and corruption: we do not offer, promise, give, request or accept bribes or improper advantages.
• Risk-based checks: we may take proportionate steps to understand clients, partners, agents, suppliers, ownership/control and commercial purpose.
• Financial crime: we do not knowingly facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, tax evasion or other criminal property activity.
• Sanctions: we seek to comply with applicable UK sanctions and will not knowingly make funds, economic resources or prohibited services available in breach of applicable restrictions.
• Payment integrity: we may question or decline unusual payment structures, unexplained third-party payments, inappropriate cash payments or arrangements without legitimate commercial rationale.
• Agents, conflicts and gifts: intermediaries should have legitimate purposes and proportionate remuneration; material conflicts should be disclosed; gifts or hospitality must never improperly influence decisions.

Due diligence and right to decline work

VEXRAD may request information reasonably required to assess legal, ethical, sanctions, ownership, payment or reputational risks and may pause or decline a relationship or transaction where concerns cannot be satisfactorily resolved. Checks are applied proportionately to the nature, geography, counterparties and risk of proposed work.
